You've just paid for a subscription, but you can't get into your account or can't see your plan. This usually comes down to one of three causes — here's how to check each one.
Your account was frozen for a security check
Occasionally, accounts are frozen after upgrading to a subscription plan. This is a security measure to confirm your identity.
When this happens, you'll receive an email from us asking for some information. Reply to that email with the requested details and we'll unfreeze your account promptly. If the email hasn't arrived, check your spam or junk folder.
You paid on a different account
Make sure you're signed in with the same email address you used when upgrading. If you've ever created more than one Hunter account, the subscription may be on the other one — see How many accounts can I create?
Note that the Chrome Extension and the Hunter website sign in separately, so they can point to different accounts. If the extension shows a free account after you've paid, sign out of both, then sign back in with the email you used at checkout.
Your account was blocked for suspicious activity
If you see an "Access denied" error, this is a different situation: Hunter detected unusual activity on your network. See Why has my account been blocked or restricted for suspicious behavior? for the steps to resolve it.
Still locked out?
If none of these apply, contact our support team with the email address linked to your account and we'll look into it.
