Pausing your subscription's renewal

The best solution if you need to stop using Hunter for a while

Updated over a week ago

If you need to stop using your paid plan for a while, you can pause your monthly subscription renewal from the Subscription page, instead of cancelling it.

Once the timeframe you have selected is over, the subscription will automatically resume with a 30% discount applied to the first payment.

ℹ️ The Pause option is not available for Enterprise and Yearly plans. If you need any further assistance, please contact us at contact@hunter.io.

Pause your subscription's renewal

You can pause your subscription for 1, 2 or 3 months: the pause will start at the end of your current billing period.

To pause your subscription, in the Subscription section of your account select Pause on the right side of the Subscription status section.

A new window will pop up, displaying an overview of what will happen once you pause your plan. Here, you will also have the option to select how long you would like to stop the subscription.

👉 During this pausing period, you'll have a Free plan and won't be charged.

You will receive an email reminder one week before the subscription's renewal. This email will remind you of the upcoming renewal and provide an option to cancel the plan if you do not wish to renew it for another month.

Unpause your subscription's renewal

In case you want to resume or cancel your subscription before the set pause is over, you have two options:

Option 1: Cancel the Subscription

Select Cancel Subscription in the Subscription section of your account, this will cancel the pause and leave you a Free Plan. If you wish to get back on a paid plan simply upgrade your plan again.

Option 2: Resume the pause by contacting us

If you prefer not to temporarily cancel the subscription, and instead immediately resume the plan you were on, you can contact us at contact@hunter.io anytime, and we'd be happy to resume the subscription for you.

ℹ️ In this case, the 30% discount will not be applied unless at least one month has passed since the pause date.
