Hunter’s Campaigns feature makes it easy to create tailored email campaigns and monitor their performances in real-time at no cost.
This not only saves you time, but makes creating targeted campaigns simple and easy to set up.
Start by connecting Hunter to your Gmail account (here's a guided tutorial) below:
After that, go to the Campaigns section and click the “+ New Campaign” button.
Create your first email campaign
Compose your message
In this first step you can write the contact of the campaign, save it as a template for future campaigns and send a test email:
In the email body and subject line you can also include custom attributes (FIRST NAME, COMPANY, etc.) that are automatically filled when sending the email based on the lead's information.
An unsubscribe link will be added by default to all the emails sent to allow every recipient to opt out from future emails.
It is also possible to add/remove an automatic tracking for the emails sent to detect if an email was opened from a recipient:
Add a follow-up
Follow-ups are automatic emails that can be sent in case a recipient shouldn't reply to the first email sent. You can set up to 2 follow-ups in Campaigns and select a timeframe (1 day, 2 days, etc.) when the follow ups will be automatically sent:
Select your audience
To select the audience of the campaign, choose if you want to use the leads saved in your Leads section or manually enter a list of emails that you want to send the campaign to:
In the last Review step, each email can be manually edited and personalised:
It is also possible to edit the email content after launching an email campaign: all the pending messages that haven't been sent, will be automatically updated.
In the Campaigns Settings it is possible to:
- set a sending window to schedule new campaigns:
We recommend selecting two or more days in case you should need to send more than 400 emails. Please note that a campaign can contain 2000 emails maximum.
Up to 400 emails will be sent immediately and the remaining emails in your campaign (if any) will be scheduled in the selected timeframe.
- set the Gmail/Gsuite account used to send the emails/campaigns, add additional accounts (users on a paid plan can add up to 20 different accounts), set the daily emails limit for each account and set a default Gmail account:
Using multiple Gmail accounts is available for paying users only. Free users can connect one Gmail account.
- edit the unsubscribe sentence at the bottom of the email:
Monitor the campaign's performances
A full report on a campaign's performances can be found in the Statistics section of a selected campaign:
Campaign's stats can be exported in CSV too:
Tracking events are also displayed next to a lead in the Leads section and you can also set filters to find leads with a specific "sending status".
Messages in a sent campaign can be filtered by status: emails sent, emails opened, emails replied, emails pending, emails bounced and errors.
View all the emails sent
In the Activity section you can find an activity log with the chronological events (openings, clicks and replies) associated with the emails you sent.
Simply click on an email to have a detailed report for it.
Create and manage email templates
In the Templates section you can create new templates to use for your campaigns and edit or delete existing ones.
Once a campaign has been launched and it is active, it is possible to automatically add new people to it. This allows to send the same message to new leads without creating a duplicated campaign.
As soon as a new lead or email is added to an active campaign, an email will be automatically sent.
All the leads that have unsubscribed from an email campaign will be directly added to the Unsubscription list.
It is possible to manually add new emails to unsubscribe:
