Yes, you can delete your account from your Account Settings or by contacting our team for assistance in removing the account. Deleting your account is permanent — you won't be able to create a new account afterward, so please don't use it as a way to reset your account.
Deleting your account in your Account Settings
Access your Account Settings and scroll to the bottom of the page.
Click "I want to delete my account" in the "Delete Account" section, as shown here:
Enter your account password to confirm the deletion, unless you signed up via Google Single Sign On.
After confirmation, your account and all associated data will be permanently removed from Hunter's systems.
Who can delete their own account
Self-service deletion is available to free and paid users alike. There are only two situations where the delete option is hidden:
You're the team owner and your team has other members. Remove the other members first, or contact us and we'll help.
You're the team owner and the account has an overdue invoice. Settle or cancel the outstanding balance from the Overdue invoices page first, then delete.
👉 On the Free plan but still carrying paid add-ons? You no longer need to contact support. Accounts that dropped to the Free plan while add-ons (extra email account slots, domains, Inbox Protection) were still attached can now manage and remove those add-ons themselves from the "Additional subscriptions" section of the Billing & subscription page, and delete the account without our help.
Deleting your account by contacting support
To initiate the deletion process via support, send a message via our website chat or email contact@hunter.io.
Once your request is received, our support team will process the deletion of your account immediately, and we'll send you a confirmation once completed.
Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed from Hunter's systems.
