What is Hunter Signals?

An overview of Hunter Signals, what it is, what signal types are available, and how it can help you find and reach the right companies at the right time.

What is Hunter Signals?

Hunter Signals is a monitoring tool that tracks activity across millions of companies and alerts you when something relevant happens, such as new emails found, a new funding round, a job opening, a company update or more.

Instead of manually checking companies one by one, you set up a Signal once, define your criteria, and Hunter continuously scans for new results and notifies you every 48 hours when there's something new.

This makes Signals particularly useful for sales prospecting and outreach timing, you reach out to companies when there's a concrete reason to, rather than cold.

Signal types

There are three types of Signals you can create:

  • Fundings and acquisitions

Track companies that have recently raised money or been acquired. Useful for identifying fast-growing companies that are actively investing and likely open to new tools and services.

  • Job openings

Monitor companies posting specific types of roles. If a company is hiring for a position that suggests they need what you offer, that's a strong buying signal.

  • Company updates

Follow specific companies and get notified when something changes, new job postings, a funding round, a new email found, or a technology update. Useful for keeping tabs on key accounts or target companies.

How Signals fits into your workflow

Signals sits between discovering and following companies, helping you stay updated on any changes and reach out at the right time.

Once a signal fires and you've identified relevant companies, you can search for email addresses directly from within Signals, no need to go back to Domain Search manually.

You can also create Signals for companies you find through Discover, Domain Search, or the Email Finder, simply by clicking the follow icon on any company result.

💡 Signals are free to set up and monitor - Credits are only used when you reveal an email address found via a Company Signal, or when you run a bulk email search from your Signals results.
