Do unused credits from a previous month or plan roll over?
Do unused credits from a previous month or plan roll over?

Find out what happens with your unused credits.

Updated yesterday

  • Yearly standard subscription plans and Data Platform plans offer credits that are valid for 12 months; after that, any unused credits will expire.

  • Monthly subscription plans are affected by the same behavior: credits will reset at the end of each monthly billing period, and any unused credits will not carry over.

What happens to unused credits when there is a plan change?

👉 If you are upgrading, downgrading, or changing your plan type, any credits left on your current paid plan will be automatically rolled over as an extra pack on top of the credits included in your new plan. The validity of the rolled over credits depends on the type of plan change:

  • From a monthly plan to another monthly plan: Rolledover credits are valid for 3 months;

  • From a monthly plan to a yearly plan or a data platform plan: Rolledover credits are valid until the end of the new yearly period;

  • From a yearly plan to another yearly plan or a data platform plan: Rolled over credits are valid until the end of the new yearly period.

When you change your plan, you will be charged the full amount of the new plan, and a new monthly or yearly billing cycle begins.

💡 Downgrading does not involve transitioning to a Free Plan, cancelling, or pausing a subscription. In those cases, unused credits do not roll over.
