How does Hunter find the email addresses returned in the Domain Search?
Updated over a month ago

Hunter searches the entire web to gather email addresses, relying solely on publicly available data.

When you search for a website on Hunter, it returns all the email addresses we found on the web that use the same domain or a linked domain. We visit over 700,000 pages every minute to find new emails, update existing profiles, and remove outdated information.

When you search for emails in Hunter, we will return the sources where these emails were found on the web and the date when the sources were last reviewed. You can expand the sources by clicking on the dropdown option inside each lead entry.

Hunter constantly updates its emails. As soon as our crawlers find new publicly available emails, they are added to our database. When emails are removed from websites, they are also removed or edited in Hunter.

More on our data can be found here: hunter.io/our-data.
