Email campaign Settings and Review

Manage your campaign's sending window and review your scheduled emails

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Review your emails

In the Review tab, you can review and manually edit or customize each email before adjusting the settings and launching the email campaign.

Each edited email will have an Edited tag. This step will allow you to personalize your email campaigns even more and make some last changes.

Email campaign Settings

When creating a new campaign, in the last step, you can manage the settings for your campaign in the Settings tab. In this section, you will be able to set:

  • The sender accounts

  • Enable/disable open and link tracking

  • Set a custom sending window

  • Manage the unsubscribe link

Set the sender accounts

In this section, you can decide on which account/s should be sending your emails for this specific campaign. You can select one or multiple senders (on a paid plan).

You also have the option to add a BCC and additional email account connections by clicking on + Add account.

πŸ’‘ Important: By clicking on the small pen icon on the right side, you can manage the selected email account, change the daily sending limit for it, and change the Sender name and choose an Alias (Google accounts).

How to track email opens and link clicks

In your cold email outreach, monitoring engagement through open tracking and link tracking is essential.

Open tracking indicates the number of times your email is opened, and link tracking observes how recipients interact with links in your email.

This data is essential for understanding how your audience interacts with your emails, helping you improve your outreach strategies and communicating more effectively with your prospects.

  • Link tracking can be activated when using a Starter plan or above.

  • Email open tracking is available to all users (on free and paid plans), providing valuable insights into your email campaign's performance.

These options are enabled by default when available in your plan, and you can adjust this in the Settings tab when creating your campaign:

If you track your email opens and link clicks, these metrics will be displayed in your Engagement section. This feature is useful for measuring the success of your Campaign.

πŸ‘‰ For more information on tracking open rates, refer to the guide here: Tracking open rate in Campaigns.

Set a custom sending window

To control when your emails are sent, adjust the custom sending window by choosing specific days and times. If all emails can't be sent on the same day, they'll go out on the next scheduled day based on your preference.

πŸ’‘If you modify the sending schedule or unsubscribe message, it will only apply to the selected campaign and won't change settings for other campaigns.

As a reminder, follow-ups will also be sent matching your selected days and timeframe.

  • Schedule the email campaign to be sent on a specific day

You can also schedule your email campaign to be sent on a specific day in the future by clicking the checkbox beside "Start the Campaign on a specific day".

Next, click on the search box and select the day you wish your email campaign to start in the calendar.

πŸ‘†The scheduling feature also takes into account any seasonal time changes. You can always check when the campaign is scheduled to start at the top of the page within the Settings section, as shown in the GIF above.

Scheduled Campaigns will have a status Planned in the Campaigns section until they start sending, as well as an estimated next send date.

  • Set an average delay between emails

Hunter will send out emails with a default average delay of 30 seconds between each email to mimic a more natural way of sending emails and protect your email reputation.

You can increase this delay in the Campaign's Settings in the Sending Window section (this is not the sending window section in your email campaign). When you change the sending window in the Campaign's Settings, the changes will automatically be applied to all of your campaigns.

How to include an unsubscribe link or deactivate it

An unsubscribe link is included by default; however, you can decide to deactivate it before launching your campaign.

Simply uncheck the option, Insert an unsubscribe link in the emails, at the bottom of your campaign's Settings tab, as shown in the image below. You can also decide to include it again, by checking the option if it was previously deactivated.

πŸ‘‰ You can also edit the unsubscribe sentence for this specific campaign in the campaign's Settings tab before launching it. The custom unsubscribe sentence will only be applied to the selected campaign.

For more information, see the article: Email Campaign Settings and Review

Instead, the default unsubscribe sentence, applicable to all campaigns, can be edited in the Unsubscribe sentence section.

πŸ’‘If you edit the settings of a specific campaign, and you later update your default settings, this will not override the settings that you changed in the campaign.

Launch your campaign

When your campaign is ready to send, click the Launch button.

The schedule modal will display a summary of the email campaign's information.

  • Sender (in case there is more than one email account linked)

  • Number of recipients

  • Daily limit and the number of days the campaign will run

  • When it starts

  • Follow-ups (if they exist)

Click the Set the campaign active button to launch the email campaign.

πŸŽ‰ Congratulations on completing your first campaign! Let Hunter take charge and continue to monitor and review your campaign.
