Hunter provides multiple ways to help you identify decision makers within a company in Domain Search, Discover and Leads.
Finding decision makers in Domain Search
When you perform a Domain Search for a specific company, you can use the Decision Makers tab available at the top of the results.
By selecting this tab, the view will prioritize contacts holding senior-level positions, such as CEOs, COOs, Vice Presidents, and Directors.
You can further refine your results by:
Department: Focus on a specific team like Marketing, HR, or Finance.
Job Title: Search for contacts with particular roles by entering job title keywords (e.g., “Head of Sales”, “VP of Operations”).
Verification Status: Filter emails based on their status, valid, accept all, or unknown.
Saved Leads: Exclude contacts you’ve already saved to keep your lead list clean.
Location: Narrow down results to decision-makers in a specific city, region, or country.
Adding filters like these not only enhances the relevance of the results but also streamlines the process of finding the most suitable contacts, especially for industries where specific roles are critical to target.

Finding Decision Makers in Discover
When using Discover, you can also identify decision-makers at a company by clicking on it to expand the company information.
After clicking, a panel opens showing the list of available contacts. Here, just like in Domain Search, you can select the Decision Makers tab to quickly focus on senior profiles.

You can refine results further with:
Department
Job Title
Verification Status
Saved Leads
Location
Using these filters helps you quickly narrow down your search and focus only on the most relevant decision-makers—without wasting time sorting through irrelevant profiles.
It also lets you move seamlessly from identifying the right company to pinpointing the right person within it.
Finding Decision makers in Bulk using Discover
You can also find decision-makers in bulk using Discover:
Once you’ve found your companies, select the ones you want to find emails for—or leave unselected to choose all (up to the first 25K companies).
Click the orange Find all people button.
A panel will appear on the right. Here, you can select additional filters (Department, Job Title, Verification Status, Saved Leads, Location) or simply click the Decision Makers tab.
To reveal emails in bulk, select the emails or click Reveal all at the bottom of the page.
This tool efficiently processes large volumes of company data, making it well-suited for email sequences that target specific industries or departments. It also enables better cost control by allowing you to limit the number of email addresses revealed per company.
