Hunter Discover is a prospecting feature available on all Standard all-in-one outreach plans, including the Free plan, that helps you find companies and decision-makers matching your ideal customer profile—even if you’re starting with no data at all.

Access to Discover is not included in Data Platform plans. Discover is designed for users who need an all-in-one workflow for company discovery, email finding, and outreach. Limited access to Discover is, however, available through the Hunter API for Data plans as well.


What You Can Do With Discover

With Discover, you can move from zero data to qualified leads in just a few steps:

  • Search companies using advanced filters
    Narrow results by industry, company size, location, keywords, funding, technologies, and more—so you focus only on relevant businesses.

  • Use the AI Assistant to build searches faster
    Describe your target in plain language (for example, “Accounting firms in Germany”), and Discover automatically applies the right filters for you.

  • Find similar companies (available on paid plans)
    Instantly discover businesses similar to companies you already know or work with.

  • View detailed company profiles
    Access company descriptions, industry, size, and detected technologies in use.

  • Extract professional email addresses
    Reveal generic or personal emails and filter results by:

    • Department

    • Decision makers

    • Job title

    • Location

    • Email verification status and more.

  • Identify decision-makers
    Target key roles such as CEOs, founders, VPs, or department heads—so your outreach reaches the right people.

  • Follow companies with Signals
    Get notified when companies add new email addresses or post job openings, helping you reach out at the right moment.

  • Save and organize leads
    Add companies to your Leads section, apply tags, export lists, and manage prospects in one place.

  • Run bulk searches at scale
    Find emails for multiple companies at once:

    • Up to 100 companies on the Free plan

    • Up to 25,000 companies on paid plans
      Then refine results using filters (department, role, location, verification status and more).

  • Access Discover via API
    Use Discover programmatically through the Hunter API for automated workflows.


Step-by-Step: How Discover Works

Step 1: Define Your Target Companies

Use filters or the AI Assistant to describe the companies you’re looking for. You're not getting charged for applying filters or finding companies. We only start charging credits once you start revealing emails for these companies.
