What happens when I cancel my subscription?

When you cancel your subscription with Hunter, your account won’t be closed, it will simply move to the Free Plan at the end of your current billing cycle.


How to confirm your subscription is canceled

To make sure your cancellation was successful:

  • Go to your Subscription section in your Hunter account.

  • Choose Cancel next to the Status.

  • If the cancellation is confirmed, you’ll see the status “Cancellation scheduled.”

  • Your account will remain active until the current billing period ends — no further charges will be made.

ℹ️ To avoid renewal, make sure to cancel before the next billing date.


Want to pause instead of canceling?

If you’re on a monthly plan, you can pause your subscription renewal for 1, 2, or 3 months instead of canceling.

  • During the pause, your account will switch to the Free Plan.

  • You can remove the pause at any time.

  • If you keep the pause and your plan resumes as scheduled, you’ll automatically get a 30% discount on the first payment after the pause.

You can manage this directly in your Subscription section. Simply choose Pause in the Subscription status and follow the pausing process.


What happens after cancellation?

Once your paid plan ends:

  • Your account will be automatically downgraded to the Free Plan, with access to limited features and 50 monthly credits.

  • Any unused extra credit packs will remain available until they expire.

  • You can reactivate a paid plan at any time in your Subscription section.
