When running an email sequence, multiple statuses can be used to denote the stage of the sequence a recipient is in. One of the statuses is the "Successful" status.
Unlike the other statuses, this status is not automatically triggered by a specific event and instead can be manually set.
This status indicates that the intention of the sequence has been achieved, and you consider the outreach to have been completed with a positive result.
When to use the "Successful" status
The "Successful" status can be manually applied to any recipient you consider to be successful, whether that means a conversion, reply, or engagement, such as clicking a link.
This can help differentiate between recipients who replied with a "not interested" response and those who have provided a positive reply, or to mark those who may have reached out to you via other means (such as booking a call) as successful.
How to mark a recipient as "Successful"
You can mark a recipient as successful either in the Inbox (if they have replied):
Or, within the Engagement tab (if they have opened or clicked your email):
Manually setting a recipient's status to "Successful" will prevent any further communication for the ongoing email sequence, meaning that any subsequent follow-ups will be cancelled for that lead.
Seeing statistics for "Successful" recipients
When using the "Successful" status within Email Sequences, you can see the statistics for the recipients you've marked as successful in multiple places.
First, you can take a look at this statistic per sequence with the statistics section of any sequence:
Or, if you're on a premium plan, you can see statistics for this metric across all of your email sequences within your specified time frame using the Reporting section.
