Browsing available technologies in TechLookup
Hunter tracks the technologies running on millions of company websites — from e-commerce platforms to CRMs and marketing tools. TechLookup is where you browse this full list before running a search.
For example, if you build a solution for small e-commerce businesses, you can check whether platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce are tracked, then use that technology as a filter to find qualified prospects.
Finding companies by technology
You can find companies by technology in two ways: directly within Discover or by starting with our TechLookup tool. Both options require a paid All-in-One plan, as this feature is not available on the free plan.
From Discover
On a paid All-in-one plan, you can select the Technology filter directly in Discover — type the technology name or choose from the available options in the dropdown menu.
From TechLookup
Step 1: On hunter.io/techlookup, click the technology you're interested in.
Step 2: Click "Reveal the websites."
This opens a Hunter Discover search with the Technology filter already applied — Hunter's tool for finding companies that match your ideal customer profile.
Refining and using your results
From there, you can narrow down the list of companies by applying additional filters.
Once you've refined your list, you can either:
Find emails for these companies by applying additional filters to target your ideal leads after clicking "Find all People", or
Save the companies to your Company List in Leads for later use.
