While Hunter Discover helps you identify companies that match your target audience. Once you’ve found the right companies, you can quickly retrieve their email contacts and save them to your Leads for later use. Here’s how it works.
Step 1: find companies that match your criteria
Discover lets you search for companies using multiple filters to narrow down your results.
You can filter by:
Company name
Location
Industry
Company size
Keywords
Technologies (available on a paid plan)
Funding
Year founded (available on a paid plan)
Company type
Similar companies (available on a paid plan)
Saved companies (hide companies you already saved)

Step 2: Finding emails for a single company or in bulk
Find emails for individual companies
Search with Discover
Use filters such as industry, location, size, or technologies to find the company you’re interested in.
Open the Company Profile
Click on the company’s name to view details and access the option to find emails.
Find Email Addresses
From the profile, inside the emails tab, you will find all of the available professional emails for that company. You can apply filters like job title, department and much more to narrow the results.
Save to Leads
Once you’ve found the right contact, simply click on Reveal. This will automatically save the prospect to your Leads to store them in your account for future outreach.
Finding emails in bulk
To find emails for all companies or just specific ones from your results (by selecting the ones you want), you can start a Bulk Search directly from the Discover page.
Simply click on the button Find all people to search for email addresses for these companies.
💡 Select companies individually, or leave the company selection empty and click the “Find all people” button. A Bulk Domain Search will automatically run for up to 25,000 companies on a paid plan, or up to 100 companies on a Free plan.
Filter your leads
After clicking the Find all people button or accessing single company profiles to find emails, you can choose leads target filters, to identify the people you need.
These filters include:
Job title: filter by specific job titles
Verification status: Valid, Accept all or Unknown
Type: generic or personal emails
Department: Select specific departments
Show only results with: phone numbers, full names, or positions.
Location: refine by city, country, continent, economic area, nation
Saved leads: Hide existing leads
People per company: choose all, decision makers, or a specific number
All people: All leads
Decision makers: filter only by decision makers
Generic emails: filter to only return generic emails such as info@ or support@
Filter leads for single companies
Go to the Email addresses section and click on Filters, to view all filters and apply them to your company leads research. Once filtered simply Reveal the email you want.
Filter a list of leads for mutiple companies
Once you’ve found your companies, click on “Find all people” to start a bulk email search for those companies.
A list of emails will then be displayed. Here you can add additional filters to target the right leads.
The leads found can be revealed one by one by clicking Reveal. You can also click the Reveal All button at the bottom, or select specific leads in bulk to reveal them.
💡The estimated number of emails found and the credit cost will also be displayed and all leads revealed will be automatically be saved to your Leads. You can also review the import status of revealed emails using the Bulk Status Center.
💡 If you don’t have enough credits to reveal all leads, you can still reveal a portion of them.
We’ll allow you to reveal the first X leads, where X matches the number of credits currently available in your account.
You’ll then see a prompt letting you continue with the partial reveal or get more credits (by upgrading your plan or purchasing an extra credit pack if you’re already on a paid plan).
Save companies and find their emails later
Every company you find with Discover can be saved as a Lead, allowing you to manage these target companies, find emails, build company lists, and receive company updates later.
If you need to save multiple companies, select them individually or use the bulk select options by simply clicking on the orange Save all companies button to save them all at once. Create a new company leads list or select an existing list.
💡The company save function is limited to 100 companies at a time for users on the Free plan. However, there are no limits for saving companies on paid plans.
The companies will be visible in the Leads Companies section, where you can manage them and find emails for them.
