Tracking open or link click rate for email sequences

All Hunter users can track when their emails get opened.

  • Tracking email opens: is enabled by default when you create a new sequence. ( available on a free plan)

  • Link clicks tracking: not enabled by default (only available on a paid plan).

How Hunter tracks email open rates

When "Track email opens" is enabled for a sequence, a unique tracking pixel is added to every email within that sequence. When the recipient opens the email, Hunter automatically logs an open event, letting you know when and how many times each recipient opened the email.

How Hunter tracks link clicks

When the "Track link clicks" option is enabled from the Settings tab inside your email sequence, Hunter will track when and how many times a recipient clicks on a link included in your email.

Note: We can’t detect which specific link was clicked. If multiple links are included in the email, we’ll only track the overall click rate.

How to enable/disable the tracking

When launching a new sequence, you can disable or enable tracking opens and link clicks inside the Settings tab of your email sequence.

Knowing who has opened or clicked links in your emails

After the emails in your sequence are sent, you can track which emails got opened or how many link clicks a recipient has done in the Emails tab when inspecting the given sequence.

You can further analyze how a given recipient interacted with your email by clicking inside each lead's profile from Leads.

💡 If your email includes a BCC, open tracking will also track when the BCC recipient opens the email.

Track the open rate or link click rate of an email sequence

The overall open rate for a sequence is available at the main sequences level on the top right (see the eye icon)

And in more detail in the Statistics Tab.

The same applies to link clicks which instead are indicated with a finger icon:

You can also view the open rate or link click statistics and other data points about a specific email sequence on the All Sequences dashboard.

The number of unique opens is also available per recipient in the Engagement tab within Email Sequences.

💡 If you’re interested in more detailed reporting, you can access the Reporting section within Sequences. There, you’ll find various filters, detailed reports of your email sequences, and options to export your data.
