Manage your Company lists

How to save companies and manage them

Updated over 2 weeks ago

When researching companies that match your customer profile using Hunter Discover, you have the option to save them to your Company lists inside the Leads section. This enables you to:

  • Manage your leads: review the saved companies, segment them, and add tags.

  • Find People: find email addresses in bulk, using filters available to target specific job titles, decision-makers and more.

  • Export as CSV: download your list of companies as a CSV file.

Save your companies

Once you have found your companies in Hunter Discover, you can save single companies or all of the companies found on your Company lists.

If you need to save multiple companies, select them individually or use the bulk select options by simply clicking on the orange, Save companies button to save them all at once. Create a new company leads list or select an existing list.

The companies will be automatically saved to your company lists inside the Leads section.

Import companies

👉 Importing a list of companies to your Company lists in Leads involves 3 different steps.

  1. Upload file: Uploading the CSV file

  2. Map Columns: mapping the columns

  3. Settings: Configure your upload

  • Click on + Import companies to import a list or + New company to add a single company:

  • Upload the CSV or TXT file that contains your companies or domains.

  • Now click on Next and start mapping the columns. If your import file includes headers, toggle the option Headers in first row.

  • In the Settings step, you can set rules on how your upload should be configured:

  1. Select if you wish to add companies to a specific list. In this case, you can choose an existing list or create a new one.

  2. Decide how Hunter should handle existing companies:

    1. Don’t import existing companies

Ignore existing companies from the import; existing companies will stay in their current list.

    2. Copy existing companies to this list

This will update existing companies, keep them in the original list and add them to the list related to this import.

    3. Move existing companies to this list

This will update and move companies that already exist to the list related to this import.

Manage your companies
