What is a lead in Hunter?
In Hunter, a lead represents a single person or company profile you’ve saved or imported— usually including an email address and related public information.
All leads will be visible in your Leads section — the central place for your cold outreach workflow—where you can find emails, enrich prospects, and contact them through cold email sequences.
Company Leads vs. People Leads
Hunter supports two types of leads:
Company leads represent an organization. They focus on company-level information such as the company name, domain, industry, and location, and are useful for researching and qualifying accounts.
People leads represent individual contacts within a company. They include personal and professional details such as name, email address, job title, and verification data, and are used for outreach and email sequences.
You can save both company and people leads from Hunter tools like Discover, and find people's leads through our prospecting tools, such as the Domain Search and Email Finder, and manage them together in the Leads section.
