📘 Looking to move to the Free plan? The "Change plan" flow is for switching between paid plans only. To go back to Free, you need to cancel your subscription — your account will switch to Free at the end of your current billing period. See Cancel your subscription's renewal.
How to change your plan
Go to Account → Billing & subscription
On the Overview tab, click See plan details (or open the Details tab directly)
At the top of the page, click Change plan
You'll be redirected to the Pricing page — choose your new plan and billing cycle
Review the changes shown at checkout (prorated charges, credit changes, new renewal date)
Click Confirm to apply the change
That's it, your new plan is active and you'll receive an updated invoice by email.
Upgrading
Upgrading to a higher tier (e.g., Starter → Growth → Scale) gives you immediate access to more credits and features.
Immediate effect: your new credit allowance is added to your account right away
Existing credits roll over: anything left from your previous paid plan is rolled over in an extra pack. The extra pack if valid for 3 months if you are switching from a monthly plan to a monthly plan, or 12 months if you are switching from a yearly plan to a yearly plan.
Downgrading
Downgrading to a lower tier (e.g., Scale → Growth → Starter) works similarly as upgrading.
Immediate effect: your new credit allowance is added to your account right away.
Existing credits roll over: anything left from your previous paid plan is rolled over in an extra pack. The extra pack if valid for 3 months if you are switching from a monthly plan to a monthly plan, or 12 months if you are switching from a yearly plan to a yearly plan.
Add-ons stay active. Additional email account slots, domains, and Inbox Protection are separate from your plan: they remain active after a downgrade. You can cancel them individually from the Additional subscriptions section if you don't need them anymore.
Switching from monthly to yearly (save 30%)
If you're on a monthly All-in-one Outreach plan, you can switch to yearly billing at any time and save 30%.
From the Overview tab:
Go to Account → Billing & subscription
On the Current plan card, click Switch to yearly
Then:
Review the new yearly price and credit allowance
Confirm the change
What happens when you switch:
You're charged the new yearly amount immediately
Your new yearly credit allowance starts right away
Any unused credits from your monthly plan convert into an extra 12-month credit pack
Your renewal date resets to today's date next year
Switching from yearly to monthly
This isn't possible during your yearly term. Yearly plans have a 12-month commitment, you can't switch to monthly billing until your yearly term ends.
When your renewal date comes up, you can let it renew on yearly billing or cancel and resubscribe on a monthly plan.
If you have questions about your specific situation, contact our support team.
Changing Data Platform plans
If you're on a Data Platform plan, you can switch to a different Data Platform tier (higher or lower credit volume) using the same Change plan button.
Upgrades take effect immediately
Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period
Data Platform plans don't have access to credit packs, switch-to-yearly banner, or email account slots
Enterprise plans
If you're on an Enterprise plan, plan changes go through your dedicated Account Manager. Please reach out to them directly to discuss tier changes, contract terms, or commitments.
Frequently asked questions
Will I lose credits if I downgrade?
You keep all credits you've already earned through your current billing period: they roll over into the new lower plan at the moment the downgrade takes effect.
Can I upgrade now and cancel later?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription's renewal at any time from the same Details tab: your plan stays active until the end of the billing period. See Cancel your subscription's renewal.
I bought the wrong plan, can I switch?
Yes, in most cases. You can change to any other paid plan (upgrade or downgrade) at any time using the Change plan button. The only exception is yearly → monthly, which isn't possible during the 12-month yearly term. If you bought a yearly plan very recently and need help, contact our support team.
Is the yearly price really 30% less?
Yes. Yearly plans cost 12× monthly minus 30%. The discount is applied to every renewal as long as you stay on yearly billing.
Can I pause my plan renewal instead of downgrading?
Yes, pause is available on monthly All-in-one Outreach plans. See Pause your subscription's renewal.
Will my team seats change?
No, we offer unlimited team seats on all all in one outreach plans.
