The Billing & subscription page is where you manage everything related to your Hunter plan: your current subscription, credits, invoices, payment method, and any add-ons like extra email account slots, domains, or Inbox Protection.
You can find it under Account → Billing & subscription.
Only the team owner can manage billing.
If you're a team member, you'll be able to view this page but not edit it. To find out who owns your subscription, check the Team section of your account.
The page is split into two tabs: Overview and Details. Here's what each one does.
Overview tab
The Overview tab is the at-a-glance summary of your account.
The four cards at the top
Card | What it shows | Actions |
Current plan | Your plan name, status (Active / Paused / Cancelled), and price | Change plan (upgrade, downgrade, or switch billing period) · See plan details (jumps to the Details tab) |
Credits usage | Credits used vs. the credit allowance on the subscription, plus the reset date. If you're on a team, this is the shared team balance — see the note below | Buy more credits (paid all-in-one plans only) · See usage (opens the Usage page for a detailed breakdown) |
Additional subscriptions | Add-ons on top of your plan: extra email account slots in Sequences, purchased domains, managed email accounts, Inbox Protection. Shows "No additional subscriptions" if you have none | — (manage them in the Details tab) |
Next payment | The amount and date of your next charge, and which plan it's for | — |
If you're part of a team: the Credits usage card shows your team's shared credit pool, not a personal allocation. Owner, Admins, and Members all see the same balance, and it's the same number Hunter checks when you run a search, a verification, or a bulk job.
That means the balance can go down because of work done by your colleagues, not just by you. To see who used what, open the Usage page, which splits your own usage from the rest of the team's.
If your Owner or Admin has set a personal usage quota for you, that quota is a separate cap on how much of the shared pool you can use yourself. You can hit your own quota while the team still has credits left. See Can I set a usage limit for team members?
💡 Switching to yearly? Use Change plan and pick yearly as the billing cycle.
If you're on a monthly plan, you may also see a yearly savings banner with a Switch to yearly shortcut that takes you straight to yearly checkout for your current plan.

Details tab
The Details tab is where you make changes to your plan and manage add-ons.
Plan management (top of the tab)
Your current plan is shown at the top, with up to three action buttons on the right:
Button | What it does | Available on |
Change plan | Switch to a different plan (upgrade, downgrade, move to a different Data Platform tier, or change your billing period) | All paid plans |
Pause plan | Pause the renewal for 1, 2, or 3 months | Monthly All-in-one Outreach plans only |
Cancel plan | Cancel the renewal: you keep access until the end of your billing period | All paid plans (Enterprise plans must complete the minimum committed term first) |
If you're on a monthly All-in-one Outreach plan, you'll also see a banner inviting you to switch to yearly billing and save 30%. Yearly plans don't show this banner.

Plan details
A breakdown of what's included in your plan:
Price: your current rate per month or per year.
Renewal date: when your plan renews next, shown in your local timezone.
Billing period: Monthly or Yearly.
Credits: the monthly or yearly credit allowance on the subscription. Credits are shared across all Hunter tools (Email Finder, Email Verifier, Domain Search, etc.) and, on a team, across every member of the team.
Email accounts: the number of sending email account slots included in your plan, and how many are in use. On All-in-one Outreach plans, click Add slots to purchase additional slots for Sequences.
Team: the number of team members that are part of your team.
Included in your plan: the feature list (Advanced Discover filters, Lead enrichment, AI Writing Assistant, etc.). Click See all features to compare against other plans.
⚠️ Adding email account slots: enter the total, not the extra. The Add slots modal asks for the total number of email accounts you want on your subscription — not how many to add on top of what you already have.
So if you currently have 3 slots and need 2 more, enter 5, not 2. The price shown before you confirm reflects the total you entered, so check it matches what you expect.
Credit packs
Credit packs let you add extra credits on top of your plan when you're running low. Each pack is valid for 3 months from purchase: only user with All-in-one Outreach plans (Starter, Growth or Scale) can buy credit packs.
Buy more credits: opens the credit pack checkout (available on paid All-in-one Outreach plans only). You can also start this checkout from the Get more credits link that appears in the app when you're low on credits.
Active packs table: when you have credit packs on your account, you'll see how many credits each one contains, when it was purchased, and when it expires.
Auto-purchase: turn this on to automatically buy a new credit pack when your balance hits 0. You can set a monthly spending cap. Disabled by default. You can also open these settings straight from the Usage page when Hunter warns you that your projected usage will run past your credits or your cap.
Credit packs belong to the subscription, so the credits they add go into the same shared pool the whole team draws from.

Additional subscriptions
If you've added anything on top of your plan, it's listed here in two tables:
Domains and email accounts: domains purchased through Hunter and managed email accounts provisioned for Sequences. Shows purchase date, periodicity, renewal date, status, cost, and a cancellation action.
Inbox Protection: Inbox Protection subscriptions per email account. Shows the same columns plus the protected email address.
You can cancel any add-on renewal directly from these tables — your plan itself stays active.
ℹ️ Cancelling an Inbox Protection subscription is reserved for the subscription owner, as is resuming one that has already been cancelled. See Cancel your subscription's renewal.
